AN EXTRAORDINARY HOMEBUILDING EXPERIENCE
This is it. After all the dreaming, planning and plotting, you're ready. For most people, building a brand new custom home is the most ambitious project they'll ever take on. It's dynamic, it's complex, and it can be a bit overwhelming, especially at the beginning. With Nathan Zane Design Build, you're in safe hands. We'll bring our decades of experience, our extensive contacts, and our passion for excellence to your new build. You'll have the benefit of a dedicated construction manager to oversee every detail, and to offer advice whenever you need it. At all times, your needs, your wants, and the quality of your experience will take center stage.
We want you to be involved at every step along the way, so that you always feel listened to, informed and in control. Done right, your homebuilding journey should be an exhilarating and rewarding process. Let us show you how.
HOW IT WORKS
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN PHASE
The initial stage of your home building journey is an exciting and creative one! We work collaboratively with you and your architect to design your dream home, value-engineer your design by providing cost-saving alternatives, ensure constructibility issues are mitigated, and develop a preliminary cost estimate followed by a comprehensive and accurate budget for your home.
PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE
We're off to the races! If you choose us as your builder, our team pushes your plans through the HOA approvals and city permit processes. We also create a comprehensive construction schedule for your home, guide you through the material selections process, and continue to refine the budget with each new selection.
CONSTRUCTION PHASE
This is when things get real! During this phase you start to see your dream come alive as your home truly takes shape. In the field, our construction managers mobilize, coordinate, and supervise our qualified team of vendors and subcontractors to guide your home toward timely completion. Our project managers provide organized and accurate budget monitoring, selection coordination, and sub agreement management. During construction, you're able to log in to our client portal at any time to see your homes schedule, selections and progress photos.
WARRANTY PHASE
Support does not end when construction does. Your construction team remain very responsive and attentive to your needs throughout (and well beyond) your warranty period. Our warranty covers all materials and workmanship for 1 year, plumbing, electrical and HVAC for 2 years and structural components for 8 years. We are committed to preserving not only the quality and integrity of our homes, but also the strength of our relationship with you and your family.
MOVE-IN!
Congratulations! This is when we get to stet back and enjoy the fruits of our collective labor. Your house is ready to become a home, a refuge, a place where family will make memories together for years to come. Following a third party final inspection and walk-through with our team you will move-in your new home. Any punch list items will be handled efficiently and effectively by our team.
